DIRECTIONS/CONTACT
The Heart Mountain Interpretive Center is located between the towns of Cody and Powell on highway 14A in northwest Wyoming. 15 minutes from Cody and 10 minutes from Powell, visitors will see the iconic red brick chimney of the original hospital structure on the hill overlooking the site as they are approaching the turn onto Road 19. This corner is also marked by two very large trees. Once visitors proceed down Road 19 and turn right onto the interpretive center road, the driveway circles around the structure ending at the parking lot.
We are located approximately one hour from the east entrance of Yellowstone Park. Check out our Visit page for more information on hiking Heart Mountain, things to see and do in Powell and Cody, and exploring the nation’s first national park!
